That's the plan. Trans is out now thanks to one of the atv Jacks from harbor freight. Gotta get the new part and get it to the trans shop

Yea it worked really well I had some stacked cut plywood that was screwed together to add height and strapped it all down. It was really stable and made it pretty easy. Now I need to get the trans off the blocks to pull it out from under the truck

That's why I don't like mine. It's not tall enough and it doesn't go down far enough when I use blocks, forcing me to drag it out on the ground. The new hotness for me is an engine hoist through in the door and through the tunnel cover hole.

Anyone want to buy an atv jack?

I put my zf in with an engine hoist through the door, worked great!

When I did the 250 clutch recently I used a scissor style jack from HF that you run up and down with a ratchet (or impact let's be honest) it worked but was pretty sketchy.

I bought the more expensive of the two Harbor Freight transmission jacks. Its pretty nice, tilts in two different planes to make aligning the transmission quick and easy. I've used it a bunch already, since I've pulled my Atlas out a couple times as well having to do my clutch last month. And I've used it on a buddy's rig for a clutch as well. I've gotten my money's worth out of it for sure.

Big thanks to all that helped. Trans and t case are filled up and no Justin, the t case is not leaking . I had a little more time to work on it and I ordered a bunch of stuff to redo the battery cables and starter. Not back together yet but still making progress.
