Post the cheaper tow rig of the group......
As tow rigs are in fashion this year, I followed suit like many others and upgraded my tow abilities. The biggest difference is that paid much less as my tow rig is gas and an automatic.
It's a 2001 ford excursion v10 4x4 auto with 188k miles, super clean and fairly unmolested by the previous owner. Previous owner added OBA to fill the rear air bags to help with towing, rims and tires off a newer f350 and a k&n drop in filter.

Post Re: the cheaper tow rig of the group......
I left it as is for a couple of months and I average 14 is mpg on the freeway doing 80, empty or loaded down. It towed my bronco to lodi beautifully which isn't much of a challenge but a good feel for its towing characteristics. It's driven all over California from Disneyland, sf, MI wuk and Yuba city without fail or signs of issue.
I recently started to upgrade and improve certain aspects starting with a combo bug guard / winter grill cover by fia. Also, upgraded the deck, amp, subs in the back with a backup camera. When I'm done with the subs, the stock interior piece will cover all the plywood.

Good. That amp was in the 91 bronco, the 68 bronco and now the excursion. The 10's came from Peters fastback lol

Also finished the headlight install. Made a mistake by thinking I had to cut off the parking light socket to wire in the LED strip. Turns out I still needed it but managed to cut the wires too shirt to reuse the plug. That part will be here soon (I feel dumb)

Digging the subs. Headlights look great too. Whats the story with the LED's? They part of the headlight or what?

Yep. The wires to them are players choice. I tied them into the parking lights.

I would think about tying them into an ignition on source so that they come on as daytime running lights

LOL, I would consider the idiots on the road that can't see a 6000lb vehicle coming down the road without DTRL the real waste.
