Try hosting on Google drive? I've got some xls files on there, also all the cool kids use xlsx these days :goodfinger:

PS Dave, no tooth brush on your list? We are no longer spooning like we talked about!

I bring more then what's on my list, but not much. Mostly creatures comforts that I don't tease out.

I can't find my high lift... :( I don't remember loaning it to anyone. I think that will be one tool on my list that is missing.

Don't forget to print your fire permits!

add toolbox/fill with all tools needed

Start here. ;-)

Not sure about the other guys, but the first post I actually keep updated and read before every trip. Andrea calls off a line and I run around the garage collecting them (some day I'll have two of everything). Also don't forget to bring anything small that is vehicle specific. On my bronco that means a Ford I6 TFI module and D44 hubs these days since everyone runs D60s.

Hahah thanks dude!

I'm going to clean out harbor freight soon. I got an excellent idea from another k5 owner but it works universally...work on your truck with the tools in the toolbox. If you can do maintenance related stuff at the very least you'll get pretty close to what you need on the trail.

Danny, post up your new packing list! I want to hear more about these bags your organizing.

Also Camilo, you should share what you built for the 4Runner.

I'll have to redo my tool list and the I carry my gear, tools, spares, ect. Over the years we get better at what we carry, what we carry, and how we organize it in the vehicle. I had it down in the jeep really good were loading for a trip was simple and knew where things had to go.

4Runner is like starting over. I keep going over in my head of where things will end up. Mainly I like things to be secured, no loose items specially I they are heavy. In an accident or rollover I don't want things hitting anyone.
Right now 4runner is getting organized for Baja trip and i'll have to adjust gear and way to carry stuff in future trips. Here is the box or the rear so far.

that sure looks like an unsecured heavy object on top there! :P

Keep up the good work and create a build thread for that thing!
