I'm in Palmdale. about an hour and a half to a lot of good spots from here, Big Bear, Calico, Last Chance Canyon.

Shoot, the closest I came to meeting Ed was meeting some of his buddie at Courtright and waving at him in his travelall as we passed on the road years ago! :P

Go to the ScoutsWest International Harvester Western Regionals in Calico next year, I'll be there. I think it's the third Saturday in April. It's a fundraiser, so all makes and models are welcome. We run Odessa and Doran Canyons, they also do other runs.
