Post Sealing against old yokes and shafts
Not sure if anyone else has had trouble with seals on old moving iron parts (shafts or yokes).

I'm collecting tips and tricks here:
- This is back from our 9" days, but never install a seal dry, add some cheap axle grease (or gasoline at the least I've heard). I grease all of mine that hold back oil and I've had great success, even when mildly pitted.
- new to me: Speedi Seal, is a super thin band the raps around yokes that have become groved from years of use. http://www.skf.com/us/products/seals/in ... index.html
- polishing and then applying permtex "bearing mount" is a new one to me also, but I'm going to try it on my rusty d44 shafts.
