Post Mud Tires
Hi guys! I am looking for a set of off-road tires for my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT. So far, I have checked out Mickey Thompson Tires' Deegan 38 Radial tires. Do you have any other suggestions?

The deegan's will be on the cheaper side of your national brands when I looked previously (note the lower tread depth if I remember). You can go cheaper if you buy the store brand of a mud tire (check america's tire, bigo, etc)

I'm really enjoying my Mickey Thompson MTZs right now, I bought the meteoric size equivilatent to 35" so I could get the heavier D rating which I'd recommend for your heavier rig too. Before that I rocked Interco TLS/SX. Awesome off road, bad on road.

If it's driven on the street, radial tires. If it's a trailer queen, go bias. The bias belts are stronger, they just don't have the same road manners.

I like the toyo open countrys on my pickup. Very quiet on the street and mild agressive pattern for off road.

What are you using the truck for? Do you care about tread life? Noise? Towing?
