Post White Bark to Courtright hike 2016
My son and I got back from walking through the trail Thursday. Days are really nice, nights are cold, Tuesday morning we had frost. Went swimming in a lake later that same day though. Mosquitoes are pretty bad, we stayed sprayed up the whole time. 31 trees down, Widow Makers and trees parallel in the trail will be interesting. Courtright Reservoir is pretty full, the other lake pictured is East.

Courtright looks very full! 31 trees is a ton... Lots of chainsaw work to be done!

We had three times the trees in 2012, it's still in the same notebook. Still a lot of work though. Yeah, Courtright couldn't be much higher. We were standing on the shore checking it out.

I guess courtright being full means you actually gotta run that section of trail from chicken rock to the bottom of Thompson hill... We bypassed it last year after running it in 2014, that's a section of trail I was happy to skip

Yep, no running the lake bottom. Probably will be able to in October though.

Courtright picture was taken from the north end of the lake.
