Post 2016 Baja 1000
It's been a year already and it's Baja time again. Justin, Will, and I are leaving November 12th for a week of tacos, cervezas, race car preping, vehicle chasing, and 2 for 1 deals. Company is Wide Open, class BC or 'Baja Challenge'. It's our own class and have 10 cars registered this year compared to 3 last year!
Should be a great and fun year with the race being 830 miles loop. Not sure of our chase assignments yet so we will see where they send us.

Its vehicle prep time!

If you really want to cross it off the bucket list, next year is it! The 50th Baja 1000! Insiders say it will be the longest course to date, which will have to be over 1700 miles.. yikes..

Either go down and spectate or I can get you guys hooked up with Wide open and maybe chase the race. Just need:
- good gps, 99% of chase crews and race vehicles are using the Lowrange package. But I know you can use your ipad and software like http://leadnavsystems.com to accomplish similar task. As long as it will read urs files, we get 1-2 days before race so we are all on the same page.
- VHF radio (50w+)
- Basic tools,
https://www.pciraceradios.com/ is a good source for those parts. They provide great support down there before and during the race.

Wide angle of the shop with some of the cars. We have like 13 cars in the race, 11 teams and three tail cars (I think).

Cam, Will and I spent extra time on BC7, so keep an eye on it!

Great pictures, looks like a real good time. Makes me want to put coil-overs on the Superduty and hit the sand next year
