Post Video treasure trove
Here to ruin your plans for Sunday night and or Monday morning...

I recently was thinking about a particular Rubicon video that I edited years ago. I figrr'd it was on the UC youtube. It was not. So I went digging through hard drives, external drives, the cloud, and your moms house, and unearthed several videos...

Pismo from August 2008! Booger! Stan! Jason! Overly enthusiastic guy in the baseball jersey!

The best part of this video, is I remember shooting most of it on this handheld Sony video camera that I had at the time. It was top-o-the-line and about as good as it got for average-consumer-level video quality, pretty crazy that your average smartphone is 5x better these days.

Rubicon 2010. Isi in his blazer! Ryan had a rig!? Other stuff!

Nolan driving my Bronco on the last bit of the Dusy, September 2015. Compare this video with the Pismo above... Pismo was a ~ $800 video specific camera. This was a < $200 point and shot camera

And then, like an idiot... the video I set out to find, that wasn't on the interwebs... Was on YouTube all along... So you've probably seen it but I'll bump it in the spirit of this thread. ... BwQ1ScMeHA

Also, I've got a lot of random little video clips in my possession. It feels like a burden. Individually not particularly interesting, but combined, a cool remembering of a trip or trips long past. Perhaps you have the same problem? Should we schedule a clip exchange and video editing party?

These are fun. I member when we used to spot for each other still! Seems like I'd still help spot today if requested, have to remember to not be in a rush when we're on vacation these days.

I'd need to dig around to find my old videos too, but I like the idea of a video editing party.

Man you think I stalled allot on the last trip, you should have seen me driving the 1946 cj2a through there!
