Yeah I had some major issues at the crossmember/frame where the steering box is located...lots of stress there. I think everything is good now, new bolts replaced the rivets and some extra welds. The solid axle seems to put less load on that part of the frame. Oh yeah, here's a couple pics from the Prairie City outing last weekend, I'm officially Rubicon ready. 8.8 is still in tact, it even held up when I ripped my rear tire.

Digging the SAS, clean work. Is that a non-cast drivers side c-wedge D44?

Thanks Dan, the axle is straight out of a 76 F-100, so it's before they did that funky stuff with welding axle tubes to the c-wedges. I know, not fat, not Mike, and my Bronco's not an 86! Oh well, keeps em guessin...
