Post In NEED of Warn Locking Hubs Dana 60
I am looking for some Warn front hubs for a 1991 Dodge Dana 60. I believe all Ford Chevy Dodge are the same. Looking for new or used in good condition. If I can't locate I'm just going to order new. Figured I would try on here 1st.

Took my 4runner for a drive to Walmart to pick up some Olive Green paint and some steaks for the BBQ when the steering wheel started going all over the place. Got to my shop and checked it out. And my WHOLE hub assembly blew up, my wheel was surprisingly still on. Their was nothing left. Wheel rubbed and grinded on my caliper the whole way back. Little to no grease and mud in there. Obviously never opened or checked for maintenance. Called the previous owner n asked. He said he never checked it. So that means I'm rebuilding it all new seals and bearings. And upgrade to Warn hubs from stock.

Let me know guys. Thanks.

Is the hub broken? I get that the wheel bearings are toast but it seems strange that the hub would break?

I wouldn't bother with a warn hub or any aftermarket hub for that matter if you're staying 30 spline. The strength gains, if any, are marginal. The 1 ton stock hubs are generally pretty strong. If you really want an upgrade go 35 spline and then get warn or yukon. I'm running the yukon 35 spline hubs and I like them a lot, they were cheaper than warn and according to yukon (of course) are stronger.

I was planning on just staying 30 spline. Should be plenty under my 22re power (under 100hp) Plus I plan on going 40s. I shouldn't have any issue if I don't go any bigger than that. Everything inside took a shit. The hub itself is fine externally. I think there was more mud than grease in the damn thing.

Wow, yeah that was due for service.

I'd just run the stock hubs for now. Should be strong enough unless you really beat on it. I also remember somewhere you mentioned chromo shafts, that'd be a good time to go 35 spline hubs as it would be a bit silly IMO to buy chromo shafts and keep 30 spline outers.

Here you go- http://www.yelp.com/biz/consuelito-mark ... -livermore

I dont go during the day. They dont taste the same as at night, where they do them in a taco stand instead of in the kitchen.

Thursday and Sunday- 8pm-12
Friday and Saturday 8pm-1am

BTW I wanted to thank Rick for the internal locking hub components. I was able to get my truck back up and running and go wheeling this last weekend.
